I downloaded my Nero 2016 Burning CD rom less than a year ago. I asked why it would not download.
I was sent an email telling me how. I downloaded it. When I opened it. It says Nero StartSmart Essentials and it will not take the serial number I was given. What happened here? I just want to record some music onto a CDR. Music that was saved on Nero.
Is there a difference between Nero 2016 Burning Rom and StartSmart Essentials? Why did they change it and how do I record my serial number to the download if it will not accept it? In his case, it says the serial is valid but for a different application. You said you downloaded a CD Rom. I don't understand how you could do that. Have you gone to nero.com, downloads, previous product downloads, Nero 2016 versions and downloaded the installation file from there?
