Open Scn File R-studio
I'm very new to R, so apologies if this is a silly question. I have a simple script file in R called test.R. It's saved in the working directory.
When I go to File/Open/test.R it opens (i.e. I can see the code in the file, it does not run it, which is fine) the file in the editor. How do I do this by typing a command in the console window? To be clear, I just want to open the file, not RUN/EXECUTE it. Some of the errors I get: load('test.R') Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted) - no data loaded In addition: Warning message: file ‘test.R’ has magic number 'x' Use of save versions prior to 2 is deprecated load('test.R') Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted) - no data loaded In addition: Warning message: file ‘test.R’ has magic number 'x' Use of save versions prior to 2 is deprecated I also tried source('test.R') and source('test.R').those don't do anything.
